(1) The council established according to section 3 shall have the following members:-
(a) Pharmacists nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the pharmacists who have at least a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and at least ten years of experience in the pharmacy business - President
(b) One pharmacist nominated by the Government of Nepal from the senior pharmacist teachers of educational institutions teaching pharmacy subjects - member
(c) President, Nepal Pharmaceutical Association - Member (d) Two pharmacists nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the renowned pharmacists involved in drug production and sales distribution - members
(e) One member nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the heads of professional organizations of pharmacists registered according to the prevailing law. (f) Two senior pharmacists including one woman nominated by the Government of Nepal on the recommendation of the Council - Member
(g) Medicines manager under the Medicines Act, 2035 - Member
(h) Registrar – Secretary
(2) If the council deems it necessary, it may invite any expert in the field of pharmacy to participate in the meeting of the council.
